After spending a really fun engagement session wandering their cute Berkeley neighborhood and around campus, I was looking forward to returning to Berkeley for Daniel and Yolanda’s wedding. The ceremony was at the Lawrence Hall of Science, and it was a beautiful clear day, with great views of the bay. The reception was on the UC Berkeley campus (where Daniel is a physicist studying Very Cold Things). We couldn’t help but have a wonderful time with Yolanda and Dan – they were very laid back and relaxed and obviously make a great couple. Their ceremony was nice and personal – officiated by Daniel’s brother, and with some great readings by friends and family (including my personal favorite "My Rules" by Shel Silverstein). And, just like during their engagement session, the smiles were non-stop, on them as well as their guests. As always, the photo booth was a big hit, especially with Dan’s father, who got to pose with all of Yolanda’s volleyball teammates. Thanks to Daniel and Yolanda for allowing my second shooter Stacy and I to be a part of such a fantastically fun event!
