Stephen and Raeann’s wedding was a blast! The couple was really fun to be around, and the dancing was off the hook! My second-shooter Marci and I had a great time. There were some really nice moments during the day - too many to recount, but here are some highlights: the "getting ready" area at The Ridge in Auburn has the most beautiful light I’ve ever seen - huge full length windows surround the room - awesome! While the girls got ready upstairs, the boys were downstairs relaxing and playing a board game - always fun to see the difference between the men and the women. While Raeann was getting ready, her grandmother ("Nana") came in to give her the ring that her grandfather had given her - it was a beautiful, tender moment and I have to admit I was getting a little teary-eyed behind the lens… The outdoor ceremony was really nice, and thankfully the weather was perfect. And the reception was great - Stephen and Raeann’s friends were tearing up the dance floor along with the happy couple. Raeann’s bridesmaids must have known it was going to be a rambunctious crowd - they came prepared for the bouquet toss with sneakers and knee pads! And everyone had a great time posing for silly photos in our Photo Fun Booth. Thanks to Stephen and Raeann for letting us be a part of such a wonderful day.
