Alex and Raquel had a beautiful wedding at the Vizcaya Mansion in Sacramento. They’re a really fun couple who met at UC Davis. Alex lives in Tehachapi (where Raquel will be joining him when they return from their honeymoon) and the place settings matched the names of all the various towns he had to drive through on his many visits to see Raquel in Sacramento. The wedding was a blast, and Alex and Raquel seemed very relaxed, and were definitely having a great time. The 18-member wedding party was a lot of fun too - they danced it up in style, serenading the bride and groom with a rousing rendition of Don’t Stop Believing - always a good time with Journey! Erika and I had a great time shooting the wedding - thanks to Alex and Raquel for including us in a great day!

It’s a good thing Kevin is a firefighter - cause this was one hot wedding! And not just because it was 105 degrees out. Luckily, the ceremony site at Lake Natoma Inn is nicely shaded, and it wasn’t until we moved inside for the rocking reception that things really heated up. Kevin and Angela are a really fun couple and their friends and family weren’t about to let a little Sacramento summer heat ruin their fun! The fairy-tale decorations were great, and the Disney entrance music was a really nice touch, as were the place settings - photos of Kevin and Angela as kids. My second shooter Jeff and I had a great time at this red-hot wedding!
